What it is for: knowing exactly where your return stands, so you never have to ask “is it done yet?”

What the stages mean

1. Documents gathering. Your firm is collecting what they need from you. Finish your organizer and upload requested documents to move this along.
2. In preparation. Your firm is working on your return.
3. Review. Your return is being checked.
4. Filed. Your return has been filed.

Steps

1. Sign in and open your dashboard.
2. Find the Return status card. The highlighted stage is where your return is now.
3. If the status is documents gathering, check What your firm needs and send anything outstanding.
