Getting started with FairFyn

FairFyn is a secure client portal for tax firms. Your firm invites each client into a private, branded portal where they answer a smart questionnaire (the organizer), upload their documents, message you, and track their return, all in one place.

The main ideas

1. Firm. Your practice. A firm has one or more team members and its own branding.
2. Client. A person your firm works with. Each client gets their own secure login.
3. Engagement. One year of work for one client (for example, a 2025 personal return). Messages, documents, and the organizer all live under an engagement.
4. Organizer. A guided questionnaire that asks each client only the questions that apply to them, so you stop chasing missing information.
5. Documents. Files exchanged both ways: clients upload theirs, and your firm shares drafts and finished returns back.

Signing in

Everyone signs in at fairfyn.com. Clients receive an email invitation from their firm and set a password the first time they open it.
